Welcome to the Blog
This is a blog for discussion of social welfare policy. I've created the blog to accompany my course on Social Welfare Policy (SW-355), an undergraduate social work course at the University of Illinois in Springfield. Students are welcomed to post comments, and I will (with student permission) be posting student essays and reactions to readings here.

I'm glad to have you on the Blog. I'll also have some discussion boards in Blackboard for private conversations among just our class, but here on this Blog the whole world can see what we have to say.
